High Frequency Filters Laboratory
THE COMMON INFORMATION
The High Frequency Filters Laboratory (St. Petersburg) is a private enterprise established in 1996 by engineer Alex Dournev. The staff consists of 11 persons. The Laboratory is a very small enterprise but it serves about 100 customers throughout Russian Federation. Among them you can meet the firms occupied with the aerial mounting ( LANS, RKM, DIPOLE, NOVIK); the largest Petersburg cable sets such as Leningrad Cable Television, PACT, PJOTR VELIKY; the manufacturers of telecommunication devices Leningrad Radio Research Institute, The State University of Telecommunications and also the sellers of electronic equipment-CABLE SETS (SPB), BUTIS-M (Moscow), NAVIGATOR (Moscow), BELKA, STEK, Viewsonics-R. A great deal of the filters is successfully sent to Moscows electronics market in Mitino district.
THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The activity of High Frequency Filters Laboratory is connected with the production and the urgent development of filters in the band 30-800 MHz. The band-pass, band-reject, high-pass and low-pass filters are available. According to our usual services you have no problems to make the order and obtain in three-seven days the samples of filters for your urgent needs if, of course, your requirements do not deviate from the framework of our fast development technology. After that and preliminary corrections of parameters we have the facilities to supply you with the serial delivery of the filters up to 10000 pieces a month. Filters are available in the form of plates( surface mounting) hermetically sealed with silicone (standard dimensions for all frequencies 20x40 mm) or placed in steel corpses (F-connectors) 47x31.5x18 mm. The filters most successfully compete in the range 30-150 MHz.
THE SHORT TECHNOLOGY DESCRIPTION
In spite of the common aspirations of all manufacturers to automate all working procedures we use a great deal of manual labor. That is because of the specific features of the product and local business conditions (manual labor is rather cheap). We produce passive LC-filters and apply so called microinductance technique. This means we use inductive coils with extremely low Q-factor and inductance in the limits 3-100 nHn. Diameter of coils is approximately 0.5-1.5 mm. We produce (manually) about 50000 microcoils for our own needs. We also utilize chip resistors and capacitors. All elements are mounted on the plates of the same dimensions. All the filters are tuned manually using digital network analyzers. After tuning process all the units are sealed and suffer the output control.
THE IDEOLOGY OF THE DEVELOPMENT
We use the elliptic filter prototypes for the development. The evaluations having been carried out we apply the substitution of classic chains of scheme by one-ports containing three ore more elements.
